Visiting My Family

The start of our summer has been quite eventful. Austin has been studying really hard for his upcoming boards exam, so I have taken the opportunity to fly out to UT to spend some quality time with my family. I am incapable of traveling solo with two babies, so my dad was very generous to send Aubrey out to Milwaukee for about a week to help out and then travel back with me and the girls.

We went to the zoo and children's museum with Aubrey. I didn't know how to get into the stupid parking garage for the museum and so I parked down the street and we got caught in a downpour (hence the wet matted-down hair in the picture).

Lydia is my favorite bus driver!

Aubrey helped me fly out to Utah with the girls
Although it was quite difficult to keep Lydia still for so long, she was pretty good and Brynlee slept almost the entire time and didn't cry once. The trip wasn't as painful as I anticipated!

We've enjoyed spending some quality time at the pool

Brynlee with her Great-Grandma Green

Lydia has recently decided that accessories are really cool - in her words they're "dawesome!"

Lydia adores her Aunt Eliza!

Blake and Lydia taking a bath in Grandma's kitchen sink.
They may hate me for this someday, but I think it's pretty cute!

On our way to the zoo!

This was the new African safari exhibit

Lydia rode the carousel with Eliza and Grandma gave her a sucker = happiest girl in the world

I got to attend my Uncle Larry's funeral while in UT with my family.
It was a beautiful service. He will be missed!

Four generations!

Dad brought us to the new aquarium

Lydia's been obsessed with fish lately. She even brings toy fish to bed now.
She loved the aquarium!

My sweet girls!

I love the temple!

My brother and sister-in-law joined my family in our sushi night.
Lydia was a handfull, but she sure loved playing anaconda squeeze with her
Uncle Travis! It was good to see them both again!

What will I do without this girl?

You can never have too many embarrassing naked baby pictures!

Sidewalk chalk is one of Lydia's favorite pastimes.
My siblings are surprisingly good at it!

Happy Father's Day!
