A Winnie the Pooh Birthday Party!

I had a lot of fun planning Lydia's 2nd birthday party which was themed after her obsession - Winnie the Pooh. We had such a wonderful time in the Hundred Acre Wood! It was fun having so many of Lydia's cute little friends come celebrate her special day. She still talks about how fun the "Pooh party" was. I think that makes it a success!

Here we have Piglet's Punch, Cupcakes, & Peanut Butter and 'Hunny' Sandwiches
(cut into bees and flowers)
What's a Winnie-the-Pooh party without Piglet?

The rest of our lunch consisted of:
"Veggies from Rabbitz Garden," "Kisses from Kanga," "Tigger Tailz," "Hunny Comb," and "Sticks from Eeyore's Howse."

It was a perfect day for a picnic!

Playing pin the tail on the Eeyore
I was very impressed that Lydia could do it (even if it was without the blindfold)

Jaxson was so sweet to help Lydia open her presents :)

We practiced saying "thank you" for all of the wonderful gifts

The red balloons became a part of the family for the next couple of days (before they shriveled and mysteriously disappeared.) I don't think balloons have ever been so loved. They would go everywhere with Lydia and it was always interesting trying to sneak them out of her room before bedtime.

Leftovers we got to share with daddy when he came home from work!
